These stones are great for entry level, keeping a stone at work, or a budget. They have great feedback and produce a great edge. These stones cut very fast and wear slow. They produce slurry pretty quickly but are hard enough that they don't need to be flattened as often. They are very comparable to Shapton Kuromaku line.
