Terayusa Fujiwara was founded 140 years ago. They made Japanese Katanas. Fujiwara-san is 4th generation blacksmith. He has some of the best forging and heat treatment technique of any other blacksmith. His knives are made by hand and finished by hand, because of this they all have subtle differences. They are some of my favorite knives.
The Denka line is Fujiwara-San's high end line. He hand forge welds the steel for every one of these knives. They also have a great design feature of the finger notch on the choil.
