Terayusa Fujiwara was founded 140 years ago. They made Japanese Katanas. Fujiwara-san is 4th generation blacksmith. He has some of the best forging and heat treatment technique of any other blacksmith. His knives are made by hand and finished by hand, because of this they all have subtle differences. They are some of my favorite knives.
The Maboroshi line is forge welded in house and hand forged. With a polished Tsuchime finish these knives look almost as good as they perform. Most are made with western handles. We special ordered them because we prefer the wa handled version.
