Kotetsu( Ironclad) knives are named after the first destroyer made by the Japanese navy. They all have a defining feature of a drop tip. Kotetsu is product of of Takayuki Shibata. Shibata-san has Kotetsu knives forged at Takefu knife village and does the sharpening himself. He is a incredible sharpener. These knives are some of the sharpest i have ever felt out of the box.
